Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
If you've suffered an injury or illness, you need special care that is focused on your return to every day life. At Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center, everything we do is designed to help you return to what is most important to you: normal life. Our physical, occupational and speech/language therapists work to provide as much therapy as your stamina allows, along with medical care and pain management. Most patients enjoy single rooms, offering added privacy during their recovery. We work with patients confronting a variety of conditions, from stroke to Parkinson's disease, as well as conditions resulting from elective surgeries (like hip or knee replacement), trauma, or recovery from cardiac surgery.
A Team Approach
Our rehabilitation team creates an individualized treatment program developed with the interdisciplinary team of nursing, social services, activities and dietary in consultation with your physicians. Rest assured that Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center is prepared to work with your health care provider so that you can recover close to home. No matter where your doctor is, we will communicate regularly with your provider and take you on the follow up visits as needed. Our objective is to help you regain your health and reach your maximum functional ability. Your needs, strengths, and aspirations are the driving force in your recovery plan.
Other Professional Services
Other professional services offered on site for all residents by visiting practitioners include podiatry (foot) care, speech therapy, dental and eye care. Wheelchair van transports are provided for local medical appointments. Professional hair services are available several days per week in our on-site salon.
